PROBLEM SOLVING
Helping solve those behavior problems
You’re here because your dog is displaying one (or more) behavioral problems that aren’t fitting in with you or your family. We understand – and we’re happy to help! We’re one of the leading companies in behavioral problem solving for dogs! Being able to come to your home to address these issues is key to helping solve the problem at the source of the issue. It also provides a flexibility you won’t find in a “typical” group class because we are coming to you and your dog – so we can meet at local parks, pet stores, etc. as needed to work on specific problems during training. Not to mention: it’s easier on you since we can work around your schedule and you don’t have to take your dog anywhere.
Coming to you also means we can address ANY AND ALL behavioral problems you are having. From basic “puppy problems” like housebreaking, playbiting, chewing, and jumping – to more extreme cases like separation anxiety and aggression issues – we cover them all. In fact, we’re one of the few companies that does work with aggression, so we have a lot of success!
Do you see one (or more!) of your dog’s behavior problems listed below?
Common Behavior Problems

Extreme cases:
What we would consider as more extreme cases are Aversions, Anxiety, and Aggression.
Aversion | Anxiety | Aggression |
---|---|---|
People - Too shy/timid to interact with people; runs and hides, shivers, etc. | Separation - Doesn't like to be separated from you or another pet in the house; can be destructive and/or vocal | Dogs - Growling, lunging, snapping at, or biting another dog they interact with in a non-playful way |
Dogs - Doesn't want to interact with other dogs; runs/hides, shakes, etc. | Noises - Fireworks, vacuums, any other loud noise in the home; your dog may either run and hide or redirect their anxiety and bark/attack | People/Children - Growling, lunging, snapping at, or biting at a person or child in a non-playful way either in the home or in public |
Fear - People, children, dogs, etc.; your dog may cower and shake, or redirect and attack | Fear - Whether cornered or not, biting at or lunging at a person or animal in your home or in public because they are scared | |
Resource Guarding - Taking food, a toy, or an object they have "stolen" and guarding it by growling/snarling/biting/snapping |
If your dog exhibits any of these behavior problems, don’t worry! They can still be trained and rehabilitated, but it might take longer. The length of time it takes to train depends on a few factors:
- The individual dog
- The length of time the behavior has been allowed to occur
- How quickly the dog responds to training
This is why the evaluation is so important – it allows us to see the level of the behavior so we can get a better estimate of how long with think it will take to train. And with our Lifetime Betterdog Warrantee, we’re always here for you!
